About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

YYC-PEK-SIN-KIX-YYC

Hello: i am a Canadian citizen. I would very much like to use the 72 hour free transit to visit Beijing! I think I qualify but not sure. Can you confirm?
If I arrive in Beijing at noon on a Monday then I would need to leave by noon on Thursday??

Beijing has a rigorous 72-hour policy so you need to make sure that your layover is within 72 hours to qualify.
