About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

am flying to H K can I use the free visa to travel to Shenzen by train and then back to HK

i am flying to Hong Kong, can I use the free visa to enter shenzen by train and then back to Hong Kong in order to fly back to the UK

No. There is no free transit in Shenzhen. You should apply for a visa for that beforehand.
