About:Shenzhen Travel

Transit in Shenzhen as US traveler.

Hello. I have US passport. I will travel back from Bangkok (BKK) and transit in SZX For 5-hours before coming back to the US. I wonder if I need visa for these 5 hour transiting? If not I wonder if there is visa-on-arrival? Thank you.

Sorry to tell you that no VOA is available, so you need to apply for a visa in advance.

Sorry to tell you a visa is necessary if you have a transit at Bao’an Airport, no matter whether you step out of the airport.
