About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Indonesian Passport Change of Airports

Hi I'm holding an indonesian passport and I have a ticket from Tokyo to Singapore with a 6-hour layover in Shanghai. My first flight arrives at Shanghai Hongqiao and the next one leaves Shanghai Pudong, meaning I have to go to another airport to catch my next flight. Am I eligible for the free temporary stay permit or do I need a transit visa?

Hi, you are eligible for 24 hr direct transit in Shanghai. No need to apply for a G type for that. Don't worry!
