About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

leaving from Shenzhen on 5-day visa

I have a flight to USA from Shenzhen with stopover in Chengdu. I will enter Shenzhen from Hong Kong with a 5-day entry permit. I do not know if I can utilize the visa free rule (stopover only 5h), because it is unclear if I leave Shenzhen domestically or internationally (either way can be tricky).

Hi, I'm afraid you cannot use the free transit policy if you travel like that. You are advised to apply for a visa before your trip.
