About:China Visa

Is it legal to work if i recieve permanent residency?

Permanent residency is it the green card/(D type visa)?
I've lived in China for 12 years, I've been married with my wife(chinese citizen) for 3,5 years, i need to wait 1,5 years more to apply for permanent residence, but i wanted to know, if i receive it, will I be able to work with or i will still need foreign expert work permit or z type? thank you

Hi, Wangzi, you can work in mainland China after you receive permanent residency. No need to apply for work permit and visa for that.
