Which visa type do I need

I am flying into Shanghai, staying 2 days then cruising Shanghai to Japan (7Day) and return Shanghai for 24 hrs. Fly Shanghai back to Australia which visa do I need?

Hi, do you mean you will travel like Australia-Shanghai(2 days)-Japan-Shanghai(within 24 hours)-Australia? If yes, you can make use of free transit policy in Shanghai in both ways, and no visa is needed. Nice trip!
