tibet in sichuan

Question

I’m in Chengdu and would like to visit a little bit more the province. I’m thinking of going to Dujyiangyan, 4 Sisters Mountains, Emei Shan and Leshan in this order. Is it be possible to go from the 4 Sisters to Emei Shan without going back to Chengdu?I can’t go to Tibet and I’ve heard that there are towns in Sichuan that are more Tibetan then Chinese. Can you recommend one or 2 that will fit my itinerary? What kind of weather should I expect in November?Thanks for your help!

Sorry to tell you no direct transport can send you to Emei Shan from the 4 Sisters. You need to back to Chengdu and take another bus or train to Emei Shan.Some places may hold more Tibetans, including Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, A Ba Tibetan & Qiang Autonomous Profecture and Mili Tibetan Autonomous County in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture.Then for weather, it may be 10-20C with some rainy days in Chengdu, and you are suggested to take your thin sweater, coat and warm pants.
