Visa X2 type

I am on X2 in Changsha, my girlfriend and I have to leave China for some personal reasons, to do so I need to apply visa to her country in China, which is impossible for me because I don't have resident permit. how can I get resident permit holding a X2 type? I think extending my study duration can get me get a temporary resident permit but how to extend my study duration since the school cant provide me anymore an admission letter or a JW202 form? please tell me if you know something that can help me. Thanks
