About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Australia to Shanghai, transit to Seoul, back to Shanghai

Can I use the 144 hour exemption with the following itinerary please?
I am flying from Melbourne - Shanghai (transiting in HK), transiting in Shanghai (from Cathay Pacific) to Seoul (Asiana Airlines). I will then return to Shanghai 5 days later and intend to use my valid entry visa on that entry.
I already had flights to Shanghai booked and needed to go to Seoul urgently so have brought the same flight forward.
Thanks!

So you will travel like Australia-HK-Shanghai(144 hours)-Seoul-Shanghai(144 hours)-another country or region instead of Seou, right? If yes, you are able to use 144 hour free transit in Shanghai twice. Nice trip!

Yes exactly! Thanks for replying, on my second trip I have a one from my double entry visa left and plan to use this, but for the transit I cannot use this up!
