do i have to apply china visa

Question

I am going to bankgog from New York to shanghai to Kunm and to Bangkok. We not going to leave the airport on any stop . We will be layove at shanghai for 5 hour for the flight to kunming . And will be layover 5 hour at kunming for the flight to Bangkok. So do we have to apply for the China visa for going through these two Chinese city to Bangkok .

You don’t need a visa for that because you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai and Kunming. Nice trip!
