About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

UK to Korea with Stopover in Shanghai in both outward and return flights

Can you advise please on 72 hour free transit . I am UK passport holder.
I am travelling to Korea from UK with stopover for one night in Shanghai (around 27 hours).
I have only short visit - four days in Korea so do not require visa for Korea.
On return journey I will returning again via Shanghai on route to UK. My stopover in Shanghai on route back is 40 hours.
Will I be eligible for free transit in both directions?

You don't need a visa for that itinerary.
