When will the high speed train from xian to chengdu start operating ?

how much would be the cost for 2nd class fare ?

Up to now, there is no confirmed date and price posted. Maybe end of Nov or Dec. Stilling waiting

I have a plan to go to Shaolin Temple by high speed bullet train after my trip in Beijing.
Question: From Hutong downtown area, Beijing, which station I should take the train and which station in Luoyang I should stop that would bring me closest to Shaolin Temple ?

For this trip, I think all the high speed rides go from Beijing West Station and will reach Luoyang Longmen Station. There is no direct bus to Shaolin Temple, you can take a bus or taxi to Luoyang Station first, the main station and then take a tourist bus to Shaoli Temple. There is a Tourist Bus Station neat Luoyang Station.
