About:Temple of Heaven

Temple of Heaven park after 5pm

Hi, noted that most of the attraction the park will be closed at 5.00pm but the 4 Gates is open until 10.00pm.
as we are arriving beijing in the evening, just wonder is it worth to pay a visit after 5pm?
what is expected to be seen/visit after 5pm?

To be honest, I don’t think it’s worth to pay a visit at that time. All the scenic spots inside are closed then and you can only appreciate the outside building.

Instead, you can pay a visit to Tian’anmen Square, Qianmen Walking Street, and walk around outside Forbidden City. If you are lucky, you can enjoy the Flag-lowering Ceremony.
