15-hour layover tour in Guangzhou

I am Filipino and going to Australia by China Southern Airlines but I have 15-hour layover. Is it possible to go out of the airport without a visa?

Oh, you can surely get out of the airport visa-free, because your case is qualified for 24h visa-free transit. But I wanna remind you that fill in an Arrival Card on plane. After landing, go to the immigration counter to apply for a stay permit, with which you will be allowed to leave the airport.
