Train/bus from Suzhou to Zhujiajiao area

Going from Doubletree in SZ to Crowne Plaza Xiayang Lake (just under 2 miles east of the Qingpu Hotel in Qingpu) (near Zhujiajiao), hopefully by train as much as possible, but I'm sure a bus will also be necessary. I'm planning to go on November 16. Google Maps says around 5 hours, taking buses 110 and G758S to Hongqiao Railway Station, a short ride on Subway Line 2 to Xujing East, and then a 2+ hour bus ride to the vicinity of the Crowne Plaza (5 min walk to hotel).

Is there a quicker way (train/bus)? If so, which trains/buses, and how long, and how expensive?

Any help would be appreciated.
