About:China Visa Application in USA

What do you mean you may entrust someone else to submit the appliaction

Or an agent to drop off your application at the consular office of the Embassy or Consulate-General.

What's an agent and what agency do you recommend. Are you talking about an agent that hand delivers the mail directly to the office? Isn't that the same as using UPS/Fedex/USPS?

It means you can find someone else to submit your application to the embassy or the consulate on your behalf if you cannot go there in person. They don't accept applications by using UPS/Fedex/USPS, and personally I think the agent will go to there to submit your application in person.
