About:Chinese Consulates in India

Can i entrust z visa application with a travel agent?

I am currently living in Bangalore and I need to apply for a Z type. Can i entrust it with a travel agent for the application? Do I need to be present for the application?
My passport is issued from Guwahati, Assam and currently working in Bangalore, Karnataka. Should i send my application to the embassy?

Lucy, you can find a travel agent to apply the Z type for you. You don’t have to be there to submit the application, but if you are required to accept a face-to-face interview, you should go there in person.
You should submit your application to the CVASC in Bombay to apply for it.

Thanks James for the response.

Do you think i can apply from Delhi also? I can stay with my relatives there for the application.
As for Bombay i don't have relatives staying there currently

Because the area you live belongs to the consular district of the consulate general of PRC in Bombay, I’m afraid you cannot apply for it in Delhi.
