About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Israeli Citizen Transiting through Changsha (CSX) and Shenzhen (SZX) in 12 hours

Hi, I am an Israeli passport holder flying with China Southern from Frankfurt to Sydney and domestic leg CSX SZX on my itinerary. As per Timatic 24 hours Transfer rule is not aplicable to Shenzhen. But I am entering in Changsha and leaving via Shenzhen. Do i need to apply to transit entry permit or not? Kindly ask to provide some references in case transit visa is not needed.

Return via Guangzhou CAN with stopover in Changsha CSX in less than 24 hours seems not an issue as both transits are not on exception list in Timatic.

Thanks in advance for competent answer.

Hi, you cannot enjoy 24 hour direct transit in mainland China in both directions. Your are supposed to apply for double entries visa in advance for Shenzhen and your return via Guangzhou CAN with stopover in Changsha CSX.
