Buying tourist day pass or octopus card?

Hi, I would go to Hong Kong for 3-4 nights in December and would like to visit Disneyland, Lantau Island and Victoria Peak from one of hotels in Kowloon by trains. Which one do you recommend, buying tourist day pass or octopus card? If the Tourist day pass, is it also including Disney Resort Line, and peak tram? If the octopus card, is it can be used to pay ngong ping / peak tram and how much money do I need to put in and where is the closed MTR for refund the remaining balance?
Thank you.

For your case, the Ordinary Octopus Card is suggested. The Tourist Day Pass is only valid for one day and cannot be reloaded. The former can also used on Disneyland Line and Peak Tram. For your stay, I suggest you deposit 300HKD. The balance can be refunded when you leave.

At the Customer Service Center of almost all MTR stations can you buy the card and get the refund.
