About:China Student Visa

Type of visa required from Pakistan? Cost ?

Hi, i am going for six month program to china and will be flying to Thailand also for 10 days vacations. Thus, i will be required multiple entry visa so which type will be required to me either X1 or X2 ?

Hi, Sam, as I know, both the X1 and X2 type are single entry, so you can try to apply for a X1 type. If it can be done, after you enter the mainland China, you can get a temporary residence permit which will allow you to travel in and out for many times within its validity.

Thank you. Here i want to add that i will be having an invitation letter from the Chinese University in which it would be clearly written that i am going to china for one semester only i.e 6 months. Will Chinese embassy grant me X1 type which is given on the condition that there is stay for more than six months ?
And Mr Nicole, X1 type is multiple entry, however, X2 type is single entry.

Dear, it is hard to say. Maybe they will give you an X2 type for that, and you will know the answer only after you do that. Good luck!
