About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

i am a Malaysian flying in from San Francisco to Kuala Lumpur via Shanghai

i will be stopping in Shanghai for 23hours. Do I need a visa for short period.

Yes, you need it for you cannot make use of the free transit in Shanghai.

In your reply , there is no Malaysian mentioned in the ASIA COUNTRIES EXCEPT SINGAPORE.
Please clearify.
