72-Hour Transit

Can I fly from Singapore to Beijing on one airline and fly from Beijing to Kuala Lumpur on a different airline and still qualify for the 72-hour transit? The airline I would be flying in and out of China on would be different airlines and different tickets. Is this still ok for the 72-hour transit?

Many thanks.

This will be ok for the 72-hour transit as long as you hold a passport of a qualified country. Nice trip!
