Resident Permit extension for a short time

Hi,

I have Resident Permit (RP). I got this PR with S1 type. now My RP expiration date is one month sooner than my wife's. She need to apply for the new work permit card and it takes at least one month.
Her RP expire on Dec first. My PR will expire on Nov first.

Is there anyway that I can extend my RP for a short time (maybe two weeks)? so after my wife gets her work permit we apply together for one year RP.
