About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I want to either fly from Singapore to Shanghai then to Beijing and back to Singapore

I want to either fly from Singapore to Shanghai then to Beijing and back to Singapore
Is this possible on a free transit for 72 hours?

You absolutely do not qualify for 72 hours visa-free transit. Singapore-China-Singapore isn't even a transit. Get a visa or change your plans.
