About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

i do not have a confirmed seat, but i do have onward tickets paid in full

Hi,

I know that I qualify for the 144hr transit, however, the airline I am using from Shanghai to Thailand (Air Asia X Berhard) has not given me a e-ticket with a seat. The e-ticket shows the payment in full, confirmed, but does not have a seat number.

Will this be a problem when getting the 144hr pass?

I am flying Air Canada round trip from Ottawa Canada to Shanghai China. The I have booked round trip tickets from Shanghai to Thailand.

correction. I DO have a e-ticket. Just no seat number, as I cannot get a seat number until 24hrs before the flight. When I enter china (shanghai), I will be staying in shanghai at a hotel for 2 days prior to going onward to Thailand

Tickets without seat assignments are fine as long as they are fully paid for and not standbys.
