I am planning to spend the weekend in Shanghai leaving Friday night from Hefei and returning Sunday.

What is the best railway station for me to travel to?

You are suggested to take a bullet train from Hongqiao Railway Station to Hefei South. It takes about 3 -3h 30 minutes and CNY187/300 for a first class seat, CNY156.5/196 for a second one.
