About:Shanghai Transportation by Air

I will be arriving at Pudong air port by Delta and transferring to a Sri Lankan airline flight.

Delta arrives at terminal 1 and Sri Lankan airline leaves from terminal 1. Do I need to go through immigration? I will only carry a hand luggage.
