About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Mileage Run

I am flying to Beijing direct from the US and departing the next day after arrival (staying less than 24 hours in China) to go back to the US. Is the 24 or 72 hour applicable to me? Or do I need to get a Visa?

You'll need a visa because this obviously isn't transit.
