terminal 3 checking in time for security, immigration for a 24 hour transit passenger?

I have 13 hrs to waste between my arrival and departure at Terminal 3. I plan to check into Hilton Hotel for a quick 2-3 hour sleep on November 8th.  How many hours should I plan for leaving the Terminal 3 and then check back into Terminal 3 after my quick nap?  Thank you.

You'll usually need at least 30 mins to 1 hr for inbound immigration, however some had the misfortune of waiting for up to two hours. As for outbound security and immigration, you'll need at least 1 to 1.5 hrs for both. Add another 30 minutes each way for the airport express if you're staying at the Hilton in downtown.
