About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

French Nationality Transit Visa

If I'm on French passport and I depart from Singapore, transit in HK and arrive in Shanghai, going back from Shanghai to Singapore, where I am working. Am I still eligible for this free transit?

So when we say transit, does that mean we will need to go thru immigration? I am having contradicting information and this is really frustrating to work on.

You do not have to go through immigration in HK. As long as your flights are non-stop Hong Kong-Shanghai-Singapore then you are eligible.
