About:China Visa

Indonesian passport holder transit in Guangzhou Airport

I'm a Indonesian passport holder, I will travel from Jakarta to New York by China Southern Airlines and will be transiting in Guangzhou for 10 hours. Do I need a transit visa?

You don’t need it because you can utilize the 24 hour direct transit in Guangzhou.

Thank you for your information. My sister will transit in guangzhou for 20 hours before connecting flight to New York. Can she utilize the 24 hours free visa transit as well?
