About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

A New Zealander KL-Guangzhou-Singapore-Melbourne. Is that considered transit on a 72-hour stop in GZ

i am travelling on a New Zealand passport. I am travelling KL-Guangzhou-Singapore-Melbourne.
i intend to visit Guangzhou 2+ days. Can I apply for 72 hour transit?
