About:Shanghai Travel

I am a US citizen taking a Celebrity Cruise originating in Tokyo, Japan and ending in Shanghai.

I will be for 2 days in SH before departing for the United States - my question is do I need a Chinese visa for those two days? I know there is a 72 hour no visa policy for air travel but I don't know if there is one for cruise travel.

Sorry to tell you 72-hour free stay is not available in your case, but you can apply for 144-hour free stay!
