weather/ airport/access to downtown from capital airport

HI there,We have a 11 hr layover during flights on 1/11/2017 and returning 21/11/2017 and want to know if the airport is warm and if we head out does it take long to go into Tianamen Square/Forbidden City by public transport

According to former information, the temperature of the former date may be 3-15C with cloud; that of latter data may be 2C below zero- 2C with snow. So you are suggested to take your warm clothes including gloves.As for Q2, you can take Airport Express and transfer to metro line 2 at Dongzhimen, and then transfer to line 1 at Jianguomen. Get off at Tiananmen East. It takes about 1 hour and CNY31. Then you can walk north for about 20 minutes to Forbidden City.
