transit flights for Polish Citizens

I have a question I have a transit flight via Hong-Kong from Frankfurt to Manila in October 2017 but my passport expire on Januarry 2018. I am Polish citizen - is it ok for me to fly via Hong Kong? or I need to have at least 6 months time to passport expiry?
thank you

It doesn't matter. In fact, you are exempt from visa for 90 days in HK, so it is fine to pass HK. Also since you will only transfer in HK and not go through the immigration, no visa is needed at all. Considering all, you don't need to worry about your passport and visa thing.
