About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I qualify for 72 hour transit

Hi. I am a US Citizen. I will be traveling to Vietnam. On my return trip, I will be going from Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) - Beijing (PEK) - NY City (JFK). Do I qualify for 72 hour transit visa? Thank you. John
