Renewing a Zimbabwe passport in China

My passport will expire in March 2018. I study near Guangzhou and need to renew it now. What steps should I take and what costs are involved. How long does the process take?

Muna, you need to make the application in the embassy or the consulate.
You should prepare your passport and the copy, a completed application form, and 2 passport-style photos, your residence permit in China, as well as other documents the consular officers consider necessary. Then you can submit the application.
