About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

Transfer procedure at CAN

We will be travelling to Cambodia from LAX via CAN Guangzhou by China Southern, do we need to claim the baggage and go through the customs before reconnecting flights to Cambodia?

If you hold the through ticket, it is no need to claim your baggage at CAN. For international to international transfer, you don't need to go through the immigration.
