About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hour free visa limits

Hi,

If I am flying into Shanghai from Hong Kong and qualify for the 144 hour free transit, can I fly out of Beijing onto Tokyo.

If not, is it possible to visit Beijing while on the Shanghai free visa

Thanks
Rob

You cannot fly out of Beijing unless it is within 24 hours of your arrival in Shanghai, and you cannot visit Beijing if you have been granted 144 hours visa-free transit in Shanghai.
