hong kong to shenzhen, can i qualify for the 144h free transit?

Hello, I am traveling to Hong Kong Oct 13 - 16 for the HK Electronics Fair.  I would like to visit Shenzhen Oct 17, 18, and 19 to see that city as well.  If I take a train from HK to Shenzhen, can I qualify for the 144h visa? Thank you, Brian

No, you cannot use the 144 hr free transit in Shenzhen. You are advised to apply for a visa for that beforehand.

Shenzhen VOAs can only be obtained at Luohu and Huanggang, not at other border crossings. The cost is CNY 900.
