South African wanting to visit my fiance in China

Hello, am from South Africa my fiance plays professional football in China so he permanently lives there now. His in off season now so his here in South Africa with me and he wants me to go back with him and visit China. What are the requirements and what do we need to do regarding me staying and visiting him there, please help

Shanti, you can apply for a tourist L type to stay with your fiance in China. You need to provide a filled-out application form affixed with passport-style photo, your passport and its photocopy, round trip air tickets and hotel reservation or an invitation letter from your fiance, and you can find the sample of the letter in this website.

Thank you very much. One more question please.. Is it possible to apply for the Chinese entry permit if am applying it in the country that isn't my own... I've traveled to Zimbabwe right now and I want to apply for the China visa next week... Is it possible for me to apply it from here in Zimbabwe while am visiting even if am from South Africa

It is possible for you to apply it from the embassy in Zimbabwe as long as you can provide all requirements. Don't worry and have a try!
