What type of spouse visa?

I have heard of Q, S-1, S-2 type - but which one is applicable? I am moving from a Z working type to a spouse visa, my wife is from the US and working here on a full-time resident permit.

Which documents will I require? Will her company need to submit the application or me personally?

Hi, you can apply for an S type. If you want to stay in China for more than 180 days, you can apply for the S1. Otherwise, the S2 type will be okay. You need to provide passport and the copy, a passport-style photo, a completed application form, an invitation letter from your wife and copy of her passport and residence permit in China as well as your marriage certificate and the copy.
