About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Cruise passenger on an 8 hour visit to Shanghai

As a cruise passenger on an 8 hour visit to Shanghai, transiting from Vietnam & on to Japan, can I get the 144 hour waiver on arrival at Shanghai International Cruise Terminal or does it have to arranged in advance?

William, yes, you can get the free transit facility in Shanghai. You don’t need to make arrangements in advance.
