About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Does Seoul-Beijing-Hong Kong qualify for 72 hour visa transit?

We plan on flying from ICN, Seoul to Beijing for 72 then on to Hong Kong. Just want to make sure Hong Kong qualifies since it is somewhat a part of China??
