About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Does layover disqualify me?

I am flying from San Francisco, CA To Beijing. I stay in Beijing less than 72 hours and then fly to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, but I have a short layover in Guangzhou. What I qualify for the 72 hour. Without a visa? Or would my short layover in Guangzhou disqualify me? I'm leaving soon. Thank you.

Hi, you won't qualify for the 72 hour free transit because of your stopover in Guangzhou.
