US green card holder temporary stay permit VOA

I am travelling with my family of 5. Four of us have a US passport, my mom has a Nepalese passport and a US green card (permanent resident card). Do we need a transit G? What if we intend to leave the airport and stay overnight in Beijing (less than 24 hours). We are connecting in Beijing from Singapore en route to USA. Please advise.

Hi, no transit G will be required because you can enjoy 24 hour direct transit in Beijing. Nice trip!
