About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Traveling from Australia to Indonesia then Shanghai back to Australia

Because I am returning to my home country from Shanghai, I'm wondering whether that will enable me to qualify for the transit visa?

You are eligible if your Shanghai-Oz flight does not stop in Indonesia or another mainland Chinese city.
