Documents needed to apply for temporary residence visa at public security bureau

What documents do i need to submit to the local security bureau in Qingdao if i want to apply for a temporary residence permit?
My wife is a chinese national and i am a south african , we have a marriage certificate from St. Thomas US Virgin islands , Do i need to notarize or authenticate the marriage certificate before i submit it to the public security bureau in Qingdao ?

Maybe you need to notarize or authenticate the marriage certificate before submit it to the public security bureau in Qingdao. To apply for residence permit, you should provide your passport and its copy, the application form, a passport-style photo, health certificate, marriage certificate, as well as an invitation letter and your spouse'd ID card and other requirements.
