About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Questions about the 72hrs free transit

We flight on 4th October from Frankfurt to Beijing and then we have on 7th flight to tokio. We haved asked for the 72hs free transit and AirChina say that is not possible because our flight to tokio is with a different operator (no airchina). It's das ok? I mean they have right? Because we never see this conditions!

As I know, your trip Frankfurt to Beijing to Tokyo will qualify for the 72 hour free transit in Beijing. The flight to Tokyo with a different operator doesn't affect that.

First of all, it's not a visa. At Frankfurt you must tell the airline that you are using transit without visa, and show them your confirmed onward flight ticket to Tokyo. At Beijing immigration, you need your passport, completed landing card, onward flight confirmation and ideally your confirmed accommodation. It's totally straightforward, nothing special.
